A lovely free outing to Newhaven Harbour and the adjacent beach. Rockpooling, boat-watching, and the adjacent playpark make it a perfect no-cost Edinburgh family day.
Free and always open. Good at low tide for rockpooling. The Fishmarket Restaurant is nearby for fish and chips. Easy to combine with Leith or Portobello.
