About this outing
A creepy Halloween day out at Craigmillar Castle filled with fascinating creatures. Meet animals from the Scottish Exotic Animal Rescue and find out about their lives, with the Master of Owls and Ravina the Storyteller on hand to tell the story behind the jack o'lantern.
Saturday 31 October 2026, 11.30am to 3pm, included in castle admission. Adult £7.50 online or £8.50 in person; child (7 to 15) £3.50 online or £4 in person. Free for Historic Scotland members. Parking at the castle is very limited, so walk or take the bus if you can.

Parking is very limited. The courtyard is reached by a steep grass slope, which is hard going with a buggy.
