Animal Magic — storytelling and craft for ages 3–6
Our view
“One of the few festival shows made specifically for 3–6s — stories plus a craft to take home, on the first Saturday of the October holiday.”
About this outing
Part interactive storytelling performance, part craft workshop, for young explorers aged 3 to 6 and their grown-ups. Retelling a classic Irish fairy tale, the storyteller — drawing on her work with the Jane Goodall Institute and the Marine Conservation Society — introduces magical beasts, birds and bugs alongside the real creatures around us. Part of the Scottish International Storytelling Festival family programme.
Sat 10 Oct 2026, 11:00, 75 minutes, Storytelling Court. One child ticket covers up to two adults free; extra adults £8. £1.25 handling fee per ticket (capped at 4).
