One of East Lothian's finest family beaches — a wide sandy bay with views to Fidra Island (the inspiration for Treasure Island). Backed by woodland with a waymarked nature trail. Clean, quiet, and beautiful.
20 miles east of Edinburgh. Large car park (paid in summer). Toilets and ice cream van on site. Children's play area in the woods. Watch for tidal changes near Fidra. East Lothian Council coastal car park — £3 day ticket.
