A stunning sweep of golden sand at Gullane, one of East Lothian's most popular family beaches. Shallow, sheltered, and with dunes perfect for sandcastle construction. About 20 miles east of Edinburgh.
Car park access via Sandy Loan off the A198. Paid car park (East Lothian coastal ticket). Good café nearby in Gullane village. Very popular on sunny days — arrive early. The beach extends towards Aberlady nature reserve.
