The Ultimate Bubble Show
Our view
“The Caves is an atmospheric underground venue, but it's worth knowing the entrance involves a cobbled street — factor that in if you're bringing a buggy or a wheelchair. Two time slots run daily (10:30 and 13:30), and the 55-minute length is just right for younger children who might not sit still much longer. The concession price drops to £10, so it's worth checking whether your tickets qualify.”
About this outing
Ray Bubbles is a former world record-holding bubbleologist with a mission: create the elusive square bubble. Over 55 minutes he uses different gases to build bubble sculptures, a soap bubble carousel, a bubble ghost, a volcano bubble, and even a tornado trapped inside a bubble. Every performance is a relaxed show, designed to be welcoming for children and adults with additional needs. There's audience participation too, so expect kids to get involved.
