Dobbies Garden Centre Edinburgh Soft Play — Lasswade
Our view
“A cheap rainy-day option with a restaurant on site, where the garden centre itself is free to wander.”
About this outing
A large garden centre in Lasswade, near the Edinburgh City Bypass, with a Little Seedlings soft play, a restaurant and a food hall. The soft play has ball pits, slides and multi-level play, with a baby area for ages 0 to 4 and a main area for ages 3 to 10.
Soft play sessions last 60 minutes and cost £4.50. Adults are free but need a ticket. Online booking closes the day before; on the day, walk-in spaces are first come, first served. Last entry is one hour before the soft play closes. In the restaurant, hot meals are served until 3pm, and kids eat for £1 with an adult main meal.
